Now that you have your guy, you would do everything in your power to keep him. To do this, you should know how to get into his mind and know how men think. How men think differs from men to men in some ways since every person is unique from another; while they are basically the same on some areas, they are men after all, which makes it harder for a girl to decipher and know how men think.

Here are some helpful tips that can help you keep him in the relationship. These have been from the many personal experiences of different people and from the male's perspective as well, giving you a glimpse on how men think.

EVERY LITTLE THING CAN BE MAGICAL. Little things matter, even if your partner won't admit it, he appreciates the little things that you do. Cook his favorite food, pamper him and surprise him even in the simplest thing that you can to keep him. You can also try massaging him or playing with his hair, these relaxing moments are the little things that guys hold close to their hearts.

STROKE HIS EGO. Men have bolstered ego, whether they admit it or not. If you want to know how men think, stroke his ego once in a while, make him feel that he is a manly MAN. Little reminders that you tell him like how secure you are when you are with him or how he is the hunkiest man in your eyes, even if it's not entirely true can go a long way.

BECOME HIS FRIENDS' FRIEND. To keep him in the relationship, do not just think that you need to befriend his family. Before you can even go that far, you need to impress his friends. Befriend them, talk to them while they are around and let them know that you are interested in them, too. How men think is similar to how girls listen to their girlfriends' take on the man they date; men, too listen to their guy friends. Even if he likes you a lot, if his best buds don't, then you are on the losing end; sooner or later, he will dump you.

BE THE SWEETEST GIRLFRIEND. True, it's not everyday that you can have a sunny disposition, but it's also not everyday that you are having down times. Be sweet, not only to your guy but to your outlook in life. Stop gossiping about other people or giving out snotty comments to other girls if you want to keep him. How men think is if you talk to him about bad things regarding other people, then you may also talk about his negative side when he is around, so keep your mouth shut if you have nothing nice to say.

LET HIM COME TO YOU. This is probably the best advice that you should take to keep him. Aside from letting him have his own time with his friends, you should also have yours. Sure, you want to do everything in your power to keep him, but you should do it subtly. Let him know that he is important but you can go on without him, too. Once you show him how needy you are, he will leave you or make you his doormat, and that is just sad, but that's how men think. So do not let that happen to you.
