* Confidence: this is listed first because it's the most important. Without confidence you'll have a very hard time attracting girls. You need to show that you aren't afraid of her, and that you aren't needy or desperate: relax, and try to think of the seduction process as something fun, instead of something to be scared of. That's all it takes.
* Listen to her: this is one thing that many guys get wrong: they are so focused on making a great impression and finding the right words and topics, that they completely forget to listen to the girl. Women usually love to talk, so listen to what she says and comment on it. It's also great to help you know her better.
* Be positive and smile: always try to be smiling, and be happy and positive when you're flirting with a girl. She'll be affected by this and her mood and disposition will be much improved.
* Be witty: girls like a guy with a sense of humor, so take advantage of this! Make some good jokes when it's appropriate (don't overdo it of course), and laugh; it might seem simple but a lot of guys can't seem to get this right.
* Cure your appearance and style: looks is less important for women, but that doesn't mean you should disregard it! Don't look like an unshaven bum, try to dress nicely and always look at your best all the time, you never know when the right opportunity to approach a gorgeous girl might present itself!
