LOVE ACTUALLY

An easy movie to write off, Love Actually is actually a pretty decent chick flick for guys. Yes it may be a Christmas movie, yes it may have many characters all in some sort of romantic quandary and yes, it may even star Hugh Grant, but please guys, don't let that turn you away from this one.

Featuring the same kind of biting British humor previously seen in" Weddings And A Funeral, Love "also has a great cast going for it, including Liam Neeson, Alan Rickman, Colin Firth, and Rowan "Mr. Bean" Atkinson (and what guy doesn't love Mr. Bean?)

CHICK FLICKS GUYS WILL LIKE #2

THE WEDDING SINGER

Adam Sandler's first on-screen pairing with Drew Barrymore" Wedding "is one of the earlier entries in the stupid-but-sweet romantic comedies Sandler has consistently put out in between more guy-oriented fair "I Now Pronounce You Chuck And "In a classic rom-com set up, Sandler plays the titular wedding singer who is terribly scorned at his own wedding day by his bride-to-be. Women will be drawn to the cute blossoming relationship between Sandler and Barrymore while Sandler's usual madcap humor should keep guys entertained.

Plus, if '80s music is your thing, this movie's retro soundtrack alone should make your night. Also of note, a couple of hysterical cameos by Sandler's buddies Jon Lovitz and Steve Buscemi.

THE PRINCESS BRIDE

A Disney-worthy fairy tale on the surface only" Princess "will definitely appeal to all those aspiring Prince Charmings out there. Directed by funny guy Rob Reiner" Princess "combines humor, fantasy and plenty of sword-swinging action resulting in an end product closer to Shrek than Snow White.

With an ensemble cast featuring the always-entertaining Billy Crystal as well '80s wrestling icon Andre The Giant, there's plenty to keep guys focused on this film that is, at its heart, a love story.

CHICK FLICKS GUYS WILL LIKE #4

CASABLANCA

To call "a chick flick would be doing injustice to one of the best films of the 20th century but, the fact is, your girlfriend will love the intense romance at the heart of this story.

Keep in mind, however, not all romances are created equal. In this case, for example, the love story between Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman takes place against WWII in the exotic setting of Morocco. Nazis and evil Frenchmen abound as Bogey gets caught in the middle of his ex's desperate plea to flee the country.

Bogey, in the role of Rick, is truly a man's man - suave, debonair and really kind of badass. Seriously guys, this is a great one whether your girlfriend is around or not.
