Have Women Become Romantically Challenged

Have Women Become Romantically Challenged Cover
As Kim of COLLEGECANDY explains, if a guy shows up with roses, serenades her or wants to hold her hand all the time, she cringes and feels a little nauseous about it.

And no, she's not alone. Perhaps there was a time when women longed for this type of romanticism from men, but nowadays it all seems contrived and we're not into bullsh*t.

And it's not just that; even if the guy is really doing these things from the heart and not because he read it on some men's site, women just aren't into the fairy tale romance anymore.

I can easily speak for myself and at least several friends when I say this: romance is dead because women let it die. Perhaps we even wanted it to die.

Nowadays, my idea of romance is him washing the dishes without my having to ask or just kissing me while I'm watching"'s "because he likes the fact that I tear up during every episode.

But roses and serenades aren't romantic in my eyes; they're like Valentine's day: people do these things because they've been"'re romantic.

You want to romance me? Tell me I'm hot, buy me one of my favorite cookies and talk to me about mind sex before you actually unleash your desires on me. That's freakin' romance.
