The male pill
Scientists are one step closer to helping men insure that when they are having unprotected sex with women who "claim" they are on The Pill, they can virtually guarantee that she won't get pregnant because they'll have taken the male contraceptive shot. Take that!Researchers at the National Research for Family Planning in Beijing injected 1,000 healthy, fertile male patients with a testosterone-based shot over a 2-year period and discovered that only 1% actually fathered a kid. And yes, the men were all able to have children (they all actually did) and the women they were sleeping with had no reproductive problems... nor were they 70.
And yes, 6 months after the testees (ha, get it? Testees?) came off the injections, their sperm count returned to healthy levels. So what does all this mean? Well, Beijing can now start working on their population problems, men can avoid getting women pregnant by relying on themselves to insure it, and, in all likelihood, the number of STDs will skyrocket because, yes, people are "dumb.
