The dating game is difficult to navigate. Sometimes guys end up with a woman who they later realize is nothing but poison.

Of course, it's not fair to judge someone on a first impression, although we all tend to do that anyway. But there are hints, sometimes subtle ones, that poisonous women tend to reveal and if you can catch them, you will know which women men should avoid at all times.

THE TRANSFORMER

At first, she will do subtle things like fix your collar and shuffle your hair. But before you know it, she'll be licking her fingers to rub something off your face and telling you that your entire being is wrong.

If within the first week of dating her, she has already said something negative about the way you dress, the way you speak or worst of all, your friends, you may want to reconsider dating this beauty. Unless of course, you enjoy being mothered by your girlfriend.

THE GOLD DIGGER

Now don't get me wrong; there are some very rich men out there who have faces for radio and know that the arm candy they have is all about the Benjamins. And more power to them.

But some guys who are busting their asses for $55,000 a year will have a hard time keeping up with a woman who has very expensive taste and no job: THE GOLD DIGGER.

If the woman you're dating never pays for anything and starts asking you to help her pay off bills and rent, run in the other direction. Unless she's your stay-at-home wife and mother of your children, you are not obligated to take care of all her financial needs.

THE SHEEP

She loves her friends, and that's great - it goes to show that she has a life without you and enjoys that time apart. But if she wants everything her friends have, or wants to do everything they do, you're in a world of trouble.

I can't tell you how women I know who break up with their boyfriends because their friends are newly single, or how many women get mad at their boyfriends because their friend's boyfriend bought them a Prada bag. It's ridiculous and if she ever pulls this crap on you, walk.

THE DEEPLY INSECURE

A little insecurity plagues all of us, and that's probably because none of us are perfect. But when you are dating a woman who always wants to have sex in the dark or who cries if you raise your voice has some serious issues she needs to deal with.

If you love her enough to want to work through them, then I respect you greatly for it, but for most guys dealing with a woman who constantly needs reassurance is exhausting.

THE DUMMY

In this day and age with all the technological advancements and the Internet, there is absolutely no excuse to be living in the dark, so when you encounter a woman who is just not bright and lacks logic, her tune will get tired fast.

Sure, she might be so sexy that you can reach orgasm just from watching her walk, but eventually, her constant ridiculous questions will start to get the best of you and your penis won't want to play anymore.

There are women out there who are both sexy and smart, and those are probably the ones better suited to you.
