Most break ups are often results of fights. A minor discussion can blow up to become a major fight between you and your ex. You don't mean to part ways but it happened and now you want to get back with the ex.

Luckily, getting back with the ex after a fight is something more repairable than as oppose to learning your ex has cheated on you. Fights are brought about by sudden rage and sometimes you don't mean what comes out of your mouth. Through time, wounds will be healed and you'll be able to be with each other again.

HAVE THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF SPACE


After a fight or a series of fights, it is best to let the smoke clear. You need time away from your ex in order to not escalate things. You might do something you'll regret and further damage the relationship. Spending time alone for a while allows time to think of what you really fighting about. You can narrow down what happened and slowly work your way in getting back together. Determining the amount of space needed depends on the both of you. If you sense that you just had a huge fight and you suddenly break up, leave a couple of days between the two of you. After a week or so, you'll miss each other and try to work out your problems.However, don't distance yourself too much that you won't be able to get back with the ex.

DISCUSS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED


Once heads have cooled, go talk to your ex. No one wants to part ways in a sour note so make you sure you talk to each other. If you are not truly meant to be, then you are not, but at least you talk things through. You have done what you can to get back with the ex. When discussing what really happened, you first have to look if what you are fighting about is really worth all this fuss. You might be surprised to know that this huge argument might have been caused by a small misunderstanding. A wrong email sent to another woman doesn't necessarily mean that your ex cheated on you, but it could it mean he simply made a mistake. Remember that fights have a tendency to grow bigger than what they really seem.

FORGIVENESS


However, if what you are really fighting about is something that is difficult to reconcile, you should devote more effort in trying to make things work. There are certain issues that hinder a person to get back with the ex, however, every problem has a solution and it shouldn't be forcing you not to be together. Forgiveness is necessary in reconciling with your ex. Lay down your pride and say sorry to one another. Some people stay broken apart because they refuse to accept forgiveness and humility. To get back with the ex means to humble yourself. Love is more important than anger or hate so don't let negative values cloud your relationship. It doesn't matter whose fault it was because both parties are usually at fault.

Always avoid breaking up after a fight. Conflict and tempered arguments are filled with emotions you and your ex would want to regret. If you really take the time to discuss your problems in a calm and organized manner, you'll be able to get past them and you'll have a chance to get back with the ex.
