62 Percents Of People Search For Exes Online

62 Percents Of People Search For Exes Online Cover
62% of people search for exes online

All thanks to Facebook, MySpace and other social media sites, 62.4% OF 275,000 PEOPLE HAVE SEARCHED FOR AN EX BOYFRIEND OR EX GIRLFRIEND, according to a survey conducted by PhoneFling, the first free mobile and online dating service in the US.

EVEN OF THOSE 46 YEARS OLD AND OLDER, ALMOST 48% LOOKED FOR AN EX.

Other interesting stats include:

86% of people know someone that used an online dating site

43.6% have even known someone who ended up in a long term relationship after finding them online

71% said they flirt more often using online dating or social networking sites than they do face to face

When it comes to searching for exes, of course it makes sense. We all want to know what our exes have done since we parted ways. And no, it's not because we secretly hope that they're miserable. Although that wouldn't hurt.

I think it has to do with our wondering "what if?"

And online dating is just a no-brainer nowadays. I mean, we do all our socializing online anyway, so why not find love online?

And flirting is also more comfortable, and perhaps dirtier, when done online because of the anonymity.
