Develop yourself. Develop your confidence and build a life style that is attractive. Work on the kind of life that you want. There are too many guys in pick-up mode, just always on the lookout for the next woman, who really don't have anything else going for them, so it is no surprise that they need to work towards techniques and tricks to be attractive.

The thing about that is it is almost counter intuitive for the idea of being attractive, because something that is attractive draws things to it; it does not try to be drawn to things, it draws other things to it! When you start to develop your confidence and create a lifestyle that is attractive, and start working on your social skills, that is another really important part.

Guys need to work on their social skills. If you do not have a best friend or some real friends in your life, that is a sign of where you are at. Throughout your everyday life start to have small interactions with people and treat them like you have know them all your life.

With these really small interactions you will start to realize that it is not so big a deal and it is not all about a thing of you being different from one group of people, or them being in a different group than you. You will start to realize that we are all pretty much the same, cut from the same cloth, and you will start to develop better relationships with others because that state of togetherness is so natural to us: we are social creatures by nature.

We are being given artificial systems to put us at comfort and make us feel like we have a social life, with many people focusing on Facebook and other internet based things but avoiding going out and meeting some people in the flesh. The reason the internet sites are so successful is that they increase our ability to socialize in a way that seems comfortable. There is nothing wrong with striking up a conversation with people you meet in your daily travels, whether he is a guy who offers you a coffee in the morning or the guy you are paying money to at the service station or whoever they may be. You need to make connections with the other people who surround you.
