Finding Your Inspiration

Finding Your Inspiration
For generations inspiration has been the driving force for creation. Writers finding their inspiration can instantly open the doorway to better understanding and answers we are all seeking.

The writing life is not just laying down your thoughts on paper for all the world to see and sharing information. For writing is about communication, about an idea, about a thought, about a thing, about the human condition, reconnecting the past, communicating the present, and expressing the future. We are talking about words that have the power to inspire us as human beings. The writing process is full of wonder and discovery.

If you're an avid reader and writer, than you're a constant thinker who must seek out the known and unknown and investigate whatever the subject might be and share this information with all your fellow human beings in a way that they can understand it and enjoy reading it. Combine this with the need to have a voice and the desire to invoke a feeling, mood, an emotion to your readers and listeners. This can translate into artists who work with pigment and paint, musicians who work with musical instruments. A writer writes. An artist paints. A singer sings.

" Claude Monet, The Artist's Garden at Giverny, 1900"

These communicators among us are great at finding an infinite amount of inspiration everyday. Inspiration can happen anytime, late at night, in the daytime, while you are on vacation, while you are working, when you are alone or with friends, when you are silently thinking and meditating, even while you are watching TV or reading a book or magazine. Taking walks amongst nature, looking at a sunset, looking at the ocean, mountains, trees, and the sky, all of that surrounds us can be a wealth of inspiration.

Finding your inspiration in life is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself. When you feel consumed by inspiration, you get a burst of creativity that can translate into artistic, musical, and literary endeavor. Inspiration for some can seem to be divine or mystical in nature. Many people find inspiration in faith and God. Others can inspire you, by those who are living and those who have departed this earth. This could be your grandparents or your parents or great thinkers and writers of our time like Mahatma Gandhi, Aristotle, Jesus, Lao Tzu, Mohammed, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Charles Dickens, William Shakespeare, Tony Robbins, and Deepak Chopra.

Great figures from history dating back over thousands of years can inspire us. Great men and women from our own time can inspire us today. Inspiration comes from all over world and from many different countries and culture. People inspire other people. These great thinkers and communicators of our time help to manifest the driving emotion we need to feel confident, secure, and give a sense of unity. Instilling in us the desire to do great things too and give a needed direction to see a personal goal fulfilled.

To achieve the maximum benefits of the different forms and concepts of inspiration one really needs to be a good listener. A listener who can hit the pause button of their mind for just a moment long enough to absorb the information. A listener who can take a step back and ponder what is in front of him or her. To let inspiration come one needs to do away with the selfishness and embrace selflessness. To understand that every person and everything that is alive is a form of inspiration. Inspiration is part of our natural history and is so important that people long ago have left many forms of inspiration for us to receive and enjoy and ultimately to be inspired with. To be a silent observer of the beauty of inspiration is to be in the joy of it.

Great works of art from artists thousands of years ago still inspire us today. Artist like Rembrandt van Rijn, Ivan Aivazousky, Vincent van Gogh, and Picasso. Here are two interesting quotes Picasso had said. "Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life." -- Picasso.. In addition, "The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's web." -- Picasso. Inspiration comes from our soul, our hearts, and the world around us.

Great works of literature covering all subject matters are in tomes, sages, and in countless books all over the world. Music from the masters of ancient time is full of inspiration and from today's modern music. Gifted young writers from today and poets from age's long past, and lyrical geniuses of the musical world, all inspire us today. All these great works of inspiration are at our fingertips every day.

Inspiration is all around us. Inspiration comes from the source of life. Without inspiration, the world would probably slowly stop and cease to move. Hope, love, romance, aspirations, dreams, and desires. All have a start in inspiration. Master the path to inspiration and you start to master the path to your own creations. Finding inspiration also, means keeping an open mind and letting the spark of creativity overwhelm you. Be a listener, a dreamer, a communicator, an observer of life, and understand that everything has a purpose. Be inspired in everything that you do. Others will notice your efforts of inspiration and they will be encouraged to do the same. Inspiration is an infectious gift's worth its weight in gold. So go ahead and inspire someone today. It is free and bountiful.
